Wind energy
In 2009, KINFRA invited Expression of Interest for a wind farm project. M/s Inox Renewable Ltd selected for final round & awarded the contract to set up 22 MW wind energy on 27.5Acres land leased from Kinfra Integrated Textile Park Kanjikode. The Kerala State Electricity Board Limited will buy the power generated from all 8 WEG plants as per the tariff fixed by the Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission.
Off the total renewable resource, Team Carinae Consultants representing M/s Inox Group, was instrumental in installing 22MW of wind energy. It amounts to 37% of the total renewable resource. This was possible due to the capable and inspiring leadership of Suku K Nayar and his unshakeable commitment to the project.
